On my way back up in rebuilding this '91 Koga Worldtraveller.
The quality and thus ease of construction continues to surprise me.
Now; cable routing.
The outer cable is worn and needs to be replaced in my opinion.
Having screwed up this task twice previously on a Reflex MTB and more recently on a early GT Tequesta, I thought it would be wise to ask for some advice.
Does the outer cable runs through? It seems so because pushing/pulling from 1 end means movement at the other end. Is the an easy (or even a possible) way of replacing the cable?
Or does the outer cable stops at a certain distance in the top tube?
Can I fiddle about with the plastic guidances?
(oh, and yes, I've mounted a DX seatpost; it seems the right thing to do with all the other parts being from the same group)
