I can understand that. Just take your time, and your confidence will come back.

hope your have details of witnesses .... generally in these cases the drivers say they will make claim then think it over and deny it was their fault.

no reason to fleece his insurance, I don't mind paying extra permiums, after all, everybody does it.

oh yes I have one witness the incident reported to the local police and two visits to the minor injuries unit so I think(hope maybe?) that the dice are loaded in my favour.

Re: knocked off my bike last week. ouch! and it gets worse!

been talking to the claims handler and of course I had to phone them as they did not bother calling me. gave all my details again and found out the driver claims no collision took place!
at that point I got a bit annoyed and I think my reaction made the claims handler realise how annoyed I was. no swearing or anything of the sort took place but I was NOT happy.
am now waiting to hear on Monday what they say and if the driver is still lying its off to the police. good thing is I go past the police station every day on the way to work.
why would he lie when I have a witness to what happened and damage to me and bike?

nasty little old twerp!!

Local Old fossil?

MCsanandreas, I notice that you are in Bridport. Sorry to drift (nose dive?) off topic, but I'm hoping that you can empower me with a little local knowledge?

I've passed through Bridport on the X53 bus a few times now, and every time I think to myself it looks prime for a small town night out. A few friends and I are partial to nipping over the border into Dorset for lads' weekends away, and I've often promoted a night in Bridport, so far without success.

Any thoughts on my idea? Before responding, I should say that our mantra is "small town, big impact".
