What bars did you use there??

Rental 1980's moto cross bars with a shim to make it fit the stem.

i have done that with a GT Timberline which i have built(cheaply) as a klunker tribute. those bars are wide on a bicycle! will put pics up when its not so darn cold out.

Nice work! Sorry I am just now seeing this fine looking build, since I joined only a few days ago. I have a very rough Klunker built up, but being a Schwinn middleweight, no knobby tires will fit the rims. I have decided to look for a balloon tire bike to continue any further with the project.
