My last project… done and ridden.
since a long time, I got the idea of building a klunker and that idea became reality when I found the frameset of that old Schwinn, sold by Jeff Archer's son.
So, firstly, I read Alan Bond's book, and secondly, finding parts for building the bike in the right philosophy.

Frameset (frame-fork-headset-seatpost) : Schwinn Typhoon
Handlebar : motocross
Wheels : Araya rims, Maillard Drum brake hubs and Duro "GoodYear design" tires
Crankset : Spécialités TA pro 5vis (70 ans série limitée)
Brakes lever : Doherty copy
Derailleurs : Suntour cyclone

Here's the result…

Very nice, interesting going with full gears too. How does it ride?

Awesome...A Klunker build is definitely on my list. Loving the paint job(did it come like this?) and interesting use of Suntour kit (which really are works of art)

Firstly, it has to be ride without lycra.
The bike is very stable in DH with very flatened angles and position is quite near to modern bikes with wide handlebar, short stem and short top tube. But the whole is very heavy and needs big legs.
About drum brakes ? I have to adjust them. No brake at all !
