I've no doubt Jon has a waiting list. As to the delivery time, I would have thought if you've been given a 6-8 week delivery time and it turns up in 4 weeks and all is as it should be then I would call that a positive result

Old information about delivery time/ waiting list? You recently painted a yellow Rainforest for a friend of mine in Norway. It took only about 4 weeks....

Just out of interest Rain how did that go ?

This has been a great thread and very interesting.
Although it has lost its way a little in recent pages.
Back on track now.

Do you use solvent based paint, or water based paint?

Do you also bake it after painting to help 'cure' (harden) the paint?

The same question is posted on your respective threads.

Keep up the good works guys.

So Jon, why don't you show us some pics from your paint workshop? It would be very interesting to see where and how you work.

Is it true that you paint them in your garden and thats the reason for your dust problems?

I was the unlucky owner of this frame. Nothing was good on it! Colours did'nt match, it was so thick painted some places that it was not possible to mount wheels in dropout and equipment on handlebars before removing some paint. Other places was way to thin painted, you could see much white from bacic colour. So much height differens in paintjob that you wount belive it

Clearcoat was also extremly bad. It looked like sticky soda spilled on the frame. I had to get clearcoat removed and clearcoated up again by a well known Harley Davidson painter. She also ment the whole paintjob was very poor done.

It was also so much dust that it felt like sandpaper. Decals was also skewed.

I have seen many of Jonrocks frames and they have been just as bad as this. Several of them had to be clearcoated up again.

I haven't seen it myself, but people who has think it is way to yellow! A Rainforest shall be green mostly

I heard he is gonna sell it.

Because I'm not pleased with his job?? So just pleased custumers are valued? This forum and thread is worthless if not unhappy comments are welcome.

This forum act like cheerleaders for Jonrock. I have seen negative threads has been locked down before.
