KOMRAID
Dirt Disciple
Over the past few years, I have resprayed a number of Klein frames and can now reproduce the iconic Klein neon fades. I want to continue build my experience and add to my portfolio of examples.
I am offering a paint job for the cost of materials and paint only - my time will be free!
The estimated cost will be between £80-£120 plus postage (I am genuinely not looking to make a profit and will only charge you the cost of the materials and paint).
The paint job will include:
- New paint on frame, forks and MC
- Stripping the old paint - this will be done by hand NOT media blasting which could damage the frame
- Filling any small dents with epoxy aluminum filler
- 2k epoxy primer - I have experimented with various primers including etch primers and have found that epoxy primer results in a more durable finish
- Fresh neon fade paint scheme
- Debossed painted logos on the frame and forks
- Replica seat tube flag and MC decal
- 3x coats of 2k high gloss clear coat
- Flat back and polish
Some examples of my work are below (the Attitude and Quantum II are my personal bikes).
The frameset would need to be sent to me (or dropped off - I'm Hertfordshire, UK) dismantled. I can respray the frame with the BB and headset bearings in place as I can mask these off. The turnaround time would be approximately 2-3 weeks.
Please send me a message if you are interested with the details of the model and the paint scheme you would like and we will take it from there... but be quick as I can only afford to do one for free.
Thanks,
Jonny
