klein mc3 airaheadset tool? newbie here

hi everyone

i tried the search feature and couldn't find a match

i have just got a 96 attitude with the airaheadset 'feature' i was given a regular mc3 bolt on stem, but also was given the mission control style stem.

i would like to know if anyone has modified a bb tool or has used any other tool for the job of tightening the large nut on the top of the stem??

the mission control would look a lot tougher on the bike.

any ideas appreciated

you need the Klein wrench

they show up on ebay from time to time. just make sure that it is the larger MTB version, not the small road.

it may still be available from Trek. ask your friendly Trek dealer if he can order it (not sure how much it would be)

Part# 971603 (ATB MC2 bar.stem collet wrench)

i don't think that any other tool would work. well, big pliers maybe but you don't want to do that

thats exactly what i need, we didn't get a lot of kleins down here but i will try the local trek dealer.

i started to try the adjustable tool trick but it didn't feel right
