KLEIN ATTITUDE SEA & SKY~MC1 RIGID

75Denver

Dirt Disciple
I hate to post this ad but I've made the decision and have to let go of this frame. Bottom line, it's too big for me and apparently finding someone to swap a 22" for a 21" is nearly impossible. With that said, here it is:

1992 Klein Attitude (FRAME ONLY)
22" Original factory paint w/ MC1 stem
NOS rigid fork (came in a box and hadn't been installed)
Rock Shox FSX for w/ Klein Steerer Tube ($300 extra)
130mm axle (came w/ broken Cooks)

The backstory on this frame is that the original owner had a 91' Dolomite and broke his frame in '95/96. He warrantied that frame and was upgraded to the current paint scheme selection at no additional charge. The receipts show the warranty work.

Frame is in really good shape but has been used. It has the usual scratches but no corrosion or cracks. The rear triangle shows nearly all of the wear displaying chain suck, mud/debris rub from tires, and rear dropout scuffs (see pics). However, through all the years of trail riding, the original paint still shines like crazy!!! I love this color scheme but unfortunately am not the right height.

Asking $2,500 for frame or $2,800 w/ RS FSX fork. I am open to offers but please no trades (unless you have a 21"). Thanks for looking. Feel free to PM.

Re:

seasky- I've already got a 20" Attitude that is good....but not great. The perfect fit for me would be a 21". When I was putting together my ad I didn't even see your S&S. Though yours is getting more responses at that price.

BEST OFFERS ANYONE?

Re:

Lovely fuselage and if the dollar/euro exchange range wasnt that bad, taxes should be paid and shippingcosts I would have made you a decent offer. Now I will only piss you off ..

I think when it was in Europe allready you would have had some serious offers yet.

Good luck with the sale, I love it!

Thanks Martin- In fact I think I remember you posting once that you're after a S&S in 22". Wish it was over there...probably benefit us both much more. As for pricing, I just used dutycalculator.com (not sure if this is even accurate) but if after all the VATs/Duty/Taxes this thing would have to be priced at half the current price tag, correct? If so, perhaps I should hold on to it and just wait for the right deal to pop up in my mrkt. Thanks again for the European insight. That's still crazy to me those costs stack up like that!!

Re:

apart from being ripped of with customs and vat on something this expensive coming on to the UK. The post office even have the balls to charge delivery again once the invoice for taxes has been paid else they won't deliver it. what a p*ss take when the buyer has already paid shipping/postage cost's. I know it's only roughly £10 but all the same it's a con
