This bike was custom ordered as a frame kit and custom built late in 1990 with the hot new components at the time, the new Suntour XC Pro was lighter and sleeker and more technologically advanced than the Shimano XT it was competing with. Somehow the bike was never picked up by the person who ordered it and it sat in storage at the shop for years.

So it's a NOS 1990 bike, 'custom built' in 1990 using 1992 Suntour XC Pro MD and 1993 XC Expert? Hmmm, what's that smell?
