Hi all,
I have a 1999 Klein Attitude and it appears to be the only year that Klein (or Trek) decided to put external cabling on it, as opposed to the usual internal cabling which the frame is well known for. I noticed that the Pulse models also had this external cabling.
Does anyone know why they made that decision, and then reverted back to the internal cabling again the very next year?!
I now feel a little hard done by, having an iconic bike that doesn't have one of the iconic features! Though having said that, it's easier to service with the cables on the outside - so perhaps that was part of their decision?
Cheers,
J
