Klein Adroit storm/Tinker Juarez

Hi guys,

I've heard rumors that there is a complete NOS Klein Adroit painted in storm somewhere in Europe and it looks almost 100% like Tinkers bike!
The bike is full with Ringle and Grafton parts and a guy told me that even the stem is a Ringle one! I am wondering how it looks like!

Cheers,

John

Hi, Biker23, and welcome to Retrobike.

In fact, there is a Tinker replica, not NOS, but a great looking bike, and belongs to a forum member.

This is not the right section to know about it.

Anyway, just make a search on the "reader´s bikes" section, and you will find it.

Enjoy.

And you did hear these rumors from where ?

Tinker did not use Ringle stem on his Adroit but MC1 and using one would need an adapter to be installed. Not that much of a hassle though, my friend has done similar ones to his Attitudes and Adroits...

And like Vitor said, this is not the right forum, unless it's for sale somewhere...

Klein Adroit Storm

Hi again,

And thanks for welcoming me on the forum!
Ok I will post my next posts in the other forum.

I heard that it is a NOS Adroit storm- it is not used and has not one nick anywhere- and the guy is supposed to have a special prototype Klein MC 1 stem painted in storm-additionaly to the Ringle stem installed a friend told me that it is a MC1 stem but without the handlebar. Klein produced only a handful of those!

I would like to see all storms out there!

Cheers,

Klein Adroit Tinker

Hi,

A friend told me that there must be a guy in Switzerland or Austria with a NOS Klein Adroit.
I am not sure it might even be Germany,
because he told me it is in the German speaking part of Europe. As far as he told me it is equipped with Ringle seatpost Ringle hubs Ringle Ti Stix Ringle stem Answer Hyperlite bar, Grafton cranks, Grafton brakes and levers and many SRP titanium and Action Tec parts he told me that he saw a pic of it on the net, but it is a while ago- and he doesn't remember where it was. Anyway I will do my best to find this great bike and then hopefully the owner will post it on your oldklein homepage!

Cheers& happy week!

I know a guy in Finland that has a Tinker replica... and it´s the most perfect Tinker replica i know in Europe (in the world, maybe  )... maybe it´s the same bike and that stem/bar thing is just confusing you...
