Klein Adroit refurb

Re:

I'd like to see better pictures of that boxed fork crown on bay.
Its quite easy to spot if you know what your looking for.

Its good to show how much handcraft went into these frames.

I bet your notching the hours up fella :D

Re:

Certainly notching up the hours. Got the frame back in October and started stripping it then. learnt a few things along the way and it has been interesting to see the bare frame and research what it should look like.
I think you are right regarding the box crown fork, it is likely they never had carbon as pictures of the Klein prototypes with the carbon shows the curved crown fork.

Re:

Sill filling, sanding and priming here :) Almost there, Just adding some filler to smooth out the welds to the head tube.

Re:

I have the paint arriving this week so am pulling my finger out with this now!

Got the Klein masks on tonight. looks like an odd colour combination at the moment. The paint masks are excellent quality and easy to apply. I have now applied grey primer over the top. Hopefully the painting will be a success, I will post up the result good or bad!

Just about what I thought...

But really: hats off to all that effort. Its going to be great anyhow. I wish I had a hand for paint spraying. Sadly, I don't.
