Klein Adept 1993 23” Drop bar



A unique Jon Rock re-spray in horizon linear fade. This has a quill adapter and shim to run a standard stem with a drop handlebar. I don’t have the MC1 stem anymore.



The frame is in good condition, some mild chainsuck damage, a few chips and bubbles in the paint, the usual stuff. Rear brake cable exit is not drilled and is using an adapter to enable the use of mini v brakes. A dent in the top tube was repaired before the re-spray. All bearings are smooth.

Campagnolo 175 mm crank with Absolute Black 42T chainring

Shimano XT rear derailleur

TRP mini v brakes

Fulcrum wheels with Vittoria 32mm Terreno tyres

Shimano SPD pedals



This is a big bike and fits me at 6’1”. You need to be 6 foot plus to fit it.

From what exactly?

It is a good looking hybrid/cx/gravel thing that holds its own now and it was made in '93. Proportions are spot on and the spec is very useable. I am not a fan of Klein(original or Trek) but I think it is top drawer. Would ride and glws.
