Seriously? Hedging your bets in case I flake out and don't send it?

What I asked for to cover the postage+mailer didn't cover the postage+mailer. Not a big deal if I'm at work, and can pop around the corner in 2 minutes on my lunch. Maybe a bit more of a deal if like today I'm on vacation and have to make a special trip into town to make sure it goes out ASAP. It's only a buck or two, BUT.....what frosts my ass is that not only did it cost me time and money to send it, you covered your ass by putting it through as goods on PayPal, so I had the privilege of paying the fees on a new, hard to find part that was graciously given as a gift to help out another member here.

I guess the old adage "no good deed goes unpunished" is true. I'll think long and hard before I do anyone any favours in the future.

What did I do wrong ? I thought I put it through properly. My hedge is the Belgian mail service is very poor in my experience they always loose things. Pls let me know what you need to cover the fees there is no reason for you to have out of pocket expense. Also I'd like to have another because thy do break over time. So let me know what to do to cover your costs I'm grateful to get the part.
