For Sale Kirk Revolution 400 wheel set,Exage hubs.

Hi, I am a newbie to the technical stuff, can you tell me are these mtb ones since they have road tyres, but I presume they are mtb? Also this is freehub design (not freewheel) which would be able to take newer cassettes? Also what is the tooth count of the biggest sprocket on there currently?

Thanks.

Hi,
Yes they are MTB 26" wheels.. Currently they have slick tyres on for road use, but you can fit any MTB 26" tyres to suit your riding style.
The cassette is a hyper glide,so yes you can install anything up to 7 speed free hub.
The largest sprocket is 28 teeth.
I hope this helps?

Hi, I've just bought a kirk revolution 400 hence the user name and the wheels are really worn out.. I owned one of these back around 1993 ish and I'd like to try and restore this one to a nice rideable condition. Bit of a mid life crisis thing maybe.. so finding these is quite amazing..
My sister lives in Portsmouth maybe I could get you to drop them off there..?

I'm also looking for where to find a rebuild kit for the front fork seals.. Trek DS2's if anyone can help with that would be fantastic.

Cheers 😎
