Kirk Precision Road Bike

Retro Newbie
Looking for a Kirk Precision Road Bike. Frame only or complete bike. Not museum standard but reasonable enough and fairly priced. Say 100 - 400 depending on if a frame only or complete but will consider. Clean and not fractured or cracked. Not interested in MTB.

Welcome to Retro Bike.... not a lot of Kirk Precision owners even on here, although there have been a few rather nice builds over the years,

however all you want is one good lead.

Re:

Thanks for the note
Any leads would be good
I’ve got 4 MTB Kirks but want a Road frame as am a roadie at heart!
Cheers

Re:

The Road frame has normal rear stays in a triangular shape whereas the MTB is raised stays at the back and the rest of the measurements differ ie wheel size etc
950 for a road bike if immaculate and original with decent components isn’t necessarily bad though.

Just for info, as you don't want a MTB, but there is a MTB version of the nice Precision road frame.
This runs 26"/559 wheels, U-brake fittings on the back and a steel unicrown fork for cantis.

Here's mine...apologies for the non-matching tyres:

It has terrible ground and rear tyre clearance, is heavy, stiff and is pretty big for a MTB frame at around 22", so Kirk developed the ill-fated e-stay Revolution.

All the best,
