I'm still looking for a Kirk Precision or Revolution Mountain bike complete or just the frame. Come on guys someone must have something.

Yea thanks for the pointer, I been watching them on e-bay for a few weeks now but most seem to be collection only. The frame looks interesting though, (shit colour). I fancied a ATB to use to get to the Pub & back but wanted something a bit unusual so I decided it had to be either a Kirk or a Pace RC100. Also a way of me trying to keep a bit fi as i'm, fast approaching 66. and it will give me a change from building road bikes.

Some folks do have a rather inflated idea of the value, and I don't just mean the one at £345. There was a really immaculate bike recently, that failed to make the (dropping) start price every time.

Frames seen to sell well, but the bikes usually struggle to make much more than £150.

I do love the 'these bikes are rare' adverts though, especially when there are four others listed at the same time.

The bike station in perth has/had one, they only want 40 quid and it was in good nick, they may be persuaded to post for a bit more, normally I would help out but it will be a busy few weeks and weekends for me.

Like what? I'm sure it had the front mech mount when I looked at it, like the braze on style.

the front mech appears to be missing and isn't now obtainable.
You'd need to check the BB is ok too since I understand they come loose from the frame
At least it does have the rear hanger - I couldn't see that on FB since that bit of the frame was covered by the 'like' box
