The Kilauea is back for 2010 as a carbon hardtail frame! 2.4lbs!!!! :shock:

Explosif is back too, link is to US site so not sure if they'll make it to the UK?

Any clues to the pipes on the Explosif, "Kona butted mountain bike cromoly frame" doesn't really inspire? Not that budgets will allow for that or the new Kilauea at the mo. :-(

Are they for 26" and/or 29" wheels?

How much $£ ?

And what is the weight of the Explosif frame?

I hope this Explosif sells well actually, so Kona and others might offer some more steel options.
I'd prefer a forward facing seatpost clamp on the Explosif though, in the kona style. I'm hoping that will change in production.

Wow. Explosif frame looks tempting. Hope they release this in the UK too. I had recently emailed paligap venting my displeasure at the lack a steel frame in the current Kona range.

Super slim racing snake explosif (used to be) now looks like every other chunky framed/sliding dropout steel ute. Nah. Pity.
