I've got a glass back... Seriously, I've had 2 visits to A&E this year where I've managed to hurt it without any real help, and I've never had any bother with a camelbak at all. I spread my stuff between that and a small under-the-seat bag.rc200ti":7tnwczwe said:At present I carry tools, spare tube, puncture repair kit, zip-ties in a small under-saddle bag, into which I also try and cram the keys, £5 and sometimes a mobile. The problem is arising that the pressure of everything is draining the battery in the keyfob.....so.... I was on the brink of going down the camelbak route as this would also allow space for carrying or stowing another layer. Then I read a thread re back-ache where 'ditching the camelbak' was suggested from a couple of folks. Is this a serious issue? Please say not 'cos I really don't want to contemplate bum-bags
The seat bag takes a tube, multitool, tyre levers, zip ties, chain links, etc. The Camelbak takes the more personal stuff: Bank card, cash, mobile and keys. Works well for me...
