Kettler Adventure XR 1995

So, done.

After the change, I got a totally new bike. The 8speed XT cassette is lot more aggressive, then the 7speed one.
Even in road I make better times then before.
So, I just need to replace one thing for the complete XT 739 set, the brakes. :)
Sure I will do. :)

Question: where should I search the serial number on my old cassette? It was on an STX hub, 7speed Shimano...

Re:

Hello!

My bike is a Kettler Selection from 1994.

Weight is 12,1 kg with this heavy tires. The bike is running very good.

All XT original. 24 speed.

Nice info that the frame is hydroformed and melted by hand!

MFG

Please, help me.

I plan to change the bike's suspension system.
What fork do You recommend?
I prefer the light ones, what is adjustable, and looks good on this bike.
I found a Manitou Skareb, but it's sold. :S

Any suggestions? :)

r u shure, the frame will be height corrected for that fork? How high is that Manitou compared to the original rigid fork?

I hope so, the original fork is 40cm high, the Skareb is 44cm, if I will sit on the bike, it will lowers about 1.5cm... So I hope so it will be OK. :)
