I'm very grateful for these. I had them powdercoated awhile ago, but I had to wait until I have the Richter 8.0 out of storage to fit them. I took the bike on holiday last week, so I now have it available to hopefully fit them this week!

I think they were first manufactured in the US, and I know they had the "Made in USA" decal on the headtube at one point. They were made in Watsonville, in Santa Cruz County. But I think Trimble outsourced the manufacturing to Japan but kept the design and testing in-house. This is still an early CSX, based on the decals on the frame, because I know they had a more elaborate "graphite carbon" panel decal in later models on the top tube. But still not sure of year.
Finally! I was waiting on the replacement stainless bolt and washer for the centre of the crank (in the correct colours).

This is fantastic. I’m rebuilding mine now and would like some advice. My old CSX had the DX front derailleur with the band type clamp. What clamp size is your XT? From what I have read, it is a 34.9mm diametre? I also see yours is a top pull? Mine was a bottom pull since the cable was routed under the bottom bracket.
Thanks! Mine is a bottom pull also, it has the little cable routing braze-on thingy just above the bottom bracket shell. It is 34.9 diameter. I have the derailleur stashed in a box, can't remember if it is 34.9 solid clamp or a band clamp.
