Built from lightweight Reynollds 531 double butted tubing with Campanolo ends. Included in the sale is the original Ken Bird water bottle, which looks like new. Included are the Mavic Record du Monde rims and Wolber "tubs" which still look usable.

Unfortunately the combination of stuck seat tube missing grease nipple from b/b shell & rust exuding all around the b/b shell suggests that the internal tubing is badly corroded.

To me the slight surface rust around the BB is normal surface rust and will toutch up if need be.
The missing grease nipple you refer to, is in my opinion a hole in the braze on that has been filled in with black paint.
As for the stuck seat post, I have freed several with ammonia and it wouldn’t stop me from buying it if it was my size.
In all, I think it’s a great bike, and the new owner will be very happy with it.

Yep, the black DA seems to be fetching decent money these days. And I would probably take the risk with a slide hammer on that post.
