I'm looking to get a keg of ale for an upcoming event. Can anyone advise on this sort of thing or recommend a supplier?

i dont get kegs but my 'local beer shop' supply them (see what i did there ;) ) not sure where they deliver too

its called moor and more beer in plymout

http://www.moorandmorebeer.co.uk/

its becoming a serious addiction now  i like to try something diferent everytime im in there
i like; fruli (strawberry beer - sweet), crabbies (ginger beer and also another brand but cant remember the brand, better than crabbies though), jail ale (mmmm local), hecks perry, toffee brothers and many more! the shop has stocked something like 1300 different varieties so far. have yet to try the chili beer, its always out of stock :(
i know they do kegs on the website, 36pint ones i think ;)
hope this helps

edit: the bloke is really freindly which is why i looove promoting his shop :D (and he sells good beer)

.

Not sure where abouts in the country you are? but George Gale brewery used to sort me out with what i think they called a 'polypig' which was about 17 pints. HSB and PSB are both nice.
Also Cheriton brewery used to offer the same thing but that is a while ago.
Good luck :D
