Guercy 'Record'

Never seen an Alan badged up as Guercy. I remember Alan cross bikes badged up as Guerciotti with a similar head badge. Any relationship do you know. ?

It appears Guercy was the French export version of Guerciotti, maybe to avoid import duty? They had a workshop in Chevigny St Sauveur. All the decals bear the 'Guercy' name or logo.
