Two Ritchey ‘bites’ - they have been in the barn since the Dawn of Time.
Of course, the one with the best tread is perished. That’s the Alpha Bite. Cosmetically good, little used, but cracking visible when folded by hand. Good for a garage queen.
The more worn Omega is nice and flexible, and I went round it by hand and couldn’t see any cracking. The tread is still deep and aggressive, it’s just not as good as the Alpha Bite. But after a wash it will be a very presentable and useable tyre. Personally, I like them in blackwall. They look purposeful.
People selling will say I am ruining the market, but hey ho, they are not being used here and could be put to better use. I will fold them carefully for posting - which will probably be a maximum of 10:00 gbp. But I’ll post them and then anyone wanting them can re-imburse the postage.
