I’ve got a Boardman SLR wheelset that came on a secondhand bike I bought on eBay last year. The bearings were dry when I got them and I think I cleaned and repacked the front, maybe just packed the rear with some grease. I have since replaced with a new pair of wheels and these are now surplus.
They’re in reasonable condition and would be a good reserve set I suppose.
The front is out of true in one spot and I’ve got no hope of sorting that with my fat fingers. I think the rear is pretty good from memory. The free hub seems a bit loose though. Might be an easy fix or perhaps needs replacing.
There’s a few scratches on the brake surfaces but nothing too bad. Bit of damage to the spokes on the rear where the chain must have come off the cassette.
I couldn’t find the skewers earlier but I’m sure they will turn up.
Just after the cost of postage. I have a box to send them out in. Alternatively you could collect from me near Reading.
