Spotted this on ebay and thought it probably wasn't worth the cost of
shot blasting the paint off (unless you can get for nowt).

Pretty sure it's not a Zaskar, looks like maybe a 7005 alloy frame (unless
it has got a flat cap - difficult to tell).

Anyway as a GT frame if you can get it cleared up for not much its worth
it. Hanger will cost you best part of £20 tho.

umm yeah good point but for less than a tenner I thought it worth a punt :D

good luck... a hanger could triple the price! hopefully not though, if there's one about, it'll be on or around here!! :D

I got 2 mech hangers with a 98 zaskar frame I recently picked up.

If it is the same as the one your after i'll sell you one.

Chris.

mech hanger

Hi Chris many thanks that sounds good to me I'll let you know what hanger I have when I get the frame :D

7005 or not

Hi Madjez you say it probably not a zaskar (fair point) I had my suspicions at the price even though they're not rare. When you say "flat cap" are you referring to the end of the top tube where it s pierced by the seat tube ?
Is there an easy was to tell what the frame is obviously none of the original stickers remain
