Hi PB. It didn't cost anything! Another Doorman did it for me. We've discussed offering this service to other Retro Bikers but it's too dodgy as the companies insurance wouldn't cover any lost or damaged parts. For example if the part goes in the etching tank for too long before anodising it would slowly disolve to nothing. The Avid Tri Align brakes you see have sold on Ebay recently for £160 - £180 and they contain some very small / thin parts. It wouldn't take much to make them completly worthless. If you do send any stuff to the anodisers make sure their insurance covers the cost of any rare and expensive parts!
