Yup. I bought a Rockhopper in '89 - light grey and Deore LX. Lovely bike. I have a period catalogue and I have to admit Specialized mountain bikes of that era are really special for me. Just about attainable (it took me a while to save up for the Rockhopper but it was worth the wait) but raced by Ned Overend.
