Just finished my 1988 Specialized RockHopper comp today

Today i went out for the first ride. Suntour shifters work with no problems together with the Shimano HG50 cassette. Maybe thicker grips (Tioga Biogrip preferably) but overall i´m very pleased with how the bike performs. Yep, it´s the old MTB standard 25,4 mm. The "Cannondale 285" stem was part of the oem equipment of the 1991 C´dale SM 2000.
