lovely, what did you do to polish it up? I just got my Manitou fs back from ftw and will maybe get to it soon.

I actually didn't polish it up at all. Just cleaned it with some wax and grease remover and replaced some of the decals. In the care instructions for the frame it says not to use any polishing compound as the frame is clear anodized (was just lucky that the frame was from California so it wasn't exposed to bad weather so no oxidation to remove). In your case you will have to do a full polishing job after the repair though...

yeah, they removed the anodizing to do the repair, so it need a good bit of polishing and maybe a re-anodizing. it also came from California so basically just needs my elbow grease.
