Based on a 1989 Dawes Escape (frame from a Forummer), now a sort of 27 speed modernised sit up and beg! A retro and newer bitsa - all works just fine. Excellent winter commuter. Rear rack if wanted. Mudguards. XT c'set. Ritchey RockComps - rims in excellent nick. Vs. L/H shifter is a thumbie - works better when mixing old stuff with 3x9.

Just a bike really!

Thanks for the nudge, wiiln! Seat tube just short of 20" c to top (of tube). Probably an 18" in old c to c terms. Top tube is slightly sloping so 22 1/2" effective c to c as best I can measure.

Sorry, kase - shipping would be difficult. She's not a feather weight - and slow recovery from eye surgery makes driving to find a box etc not easy.

I wouldn't normally buy a repainted >20 y.o. frame, but as you can see this one was as sound as a bell before its new clothing!

Such a shame you can't post... I've just bought a Marin Bear Valley and am in the process of doing a similar conversion (minus all that horrible paint removal!) but would seriously consider selling it and buying this instead. It looks really great.
