JUDY XC Elastomers

Retro Newbie
Does anyone know if you can still buy the Elastomers for Rock Shox JUDY XC forks?

I reckon mines are about '97?

I'm thinking it'd be a good idea to open mines up and brave whatever it shows me. Likely I'll need to replace some as I haven't done this for about 8years I reckon.....

Pic attached for reference.

Thanks in advance

John

Hi John,

I have a set of Rockshox Judy SLs from 1997 and have previously asked for advice about replacement elastomers (as mine are falling apart). If you search for MCUs for Rock Shox Judy SL 1996 on the wanted forum you will see the advice I was given. I worked out that the following were potentially a solution...

1) Replacement MCUs intended for another newer Rockshox fork (not sure it would work but I spoke to a guy at TFTuned Shox

2) Englund air cartridges (not made any more, expensive and could not find any)

3) Speed springs (could not find out makes models or where from)

All in all, I could not find anything following a long search. I did not try the MCUs although I was offered them for £15-20. I use my bike for riding to work so I took the option of buying new forks (Rockshox Dart 2 for £70). I have a retro bike but am not a purist so it has worked for me!

I hope this helps (and you have beter luck than me)

Gavin
