Judy C hydracoil, any good?

What does anyone know about these? Do they work are they easy to service etc..

I have a pair in the shed thanks to Repacker. When I get round to tearing them down I'll let you know.

From what I can find, they look fairly simple? Coil spring with open oil damping? Is that right?

I think so. They may even be open bath as well.

Hi I have a set of these on my ‘96 Stumpjumper, which I use regularly, and I think they’re great. Comfortable progressive and completely maintenance-free (so far).
Mind you, I don’t extend the bike, rocky downhill etc!
