Re: my clockwork

hi everyone, heres a pic of my clockwork which i no longer have, and have regretted selling her ever since, i bought it new, must have been later 80' or very early 90's. I got back into cycling and got a specialized hard rock, then a road bike and have now just got a 96 p7 which im going to get running nice, and maybe repaint in the same colours as my old clockwork

Really good clockwork, looks like a 1992, fantastic year for Orange IMO, am not surprised your gutted you no longer have it.. but I suspect good memories!

Ah, a man of supreme taste.... :D

Had the same colour 'Prestige' and also have a '96 P7 (albeit with '95 decals) ;)

Re:

Dull lazy question, just picked my trusty old clockwork up from mums, what age is it: MT71100088?

Is it as simple as 1988?

Re:

And her the old girl is, due a few up-grades...

Looks like a 1998 Clocky in the quite scarce 'Blue Moon' c/w.

Nice

Re:

Cheers dude, 88’ did seem too early!

It’s not got a replaceable mech hanger either.

Really not sure what to do with it as I really like it but have far too many bikes already. It also doesn’t really fill a gap in the collection other than genuine pub bike and that’ll change as soon as the up-grades start going on which they always do…

You know, those parts you buy because they’re a steal but aren’t for a project (in this case White Industries cranks, ControlTech V-Brakes and some Pace RC36’s.

Then it’ll be XT shifters/lever and rear mech…it just never ends!
