John Fearn 531 58cm

needing a few more golden tokens to get myself a new frame so looking to part with this.

It's a beautiful 531 lugged John Fearn frame which has been custom made for the chap I purchased it off (original owner). Frame sizing is 57cm top tube (ctc) and 58cm seat tube (ctt)

The frame is in great shape, as you can see it does have a few scrapes (the paint-work is exactly the same colour as the red CD marker pen) I did consider touching them up but wanted to show the bike in original condition.

I've given the bike a very good clean but as you can see it's still very dirty. It needs going over with WD40 and a tooth-brush while drinking a few beers infront of the TV (in that order)

Nothing is broken or seized so it will be a pleasure to work on in the future.

Shimano Altus gears and Mafac brakes.
SR seatpost and stem
Selle saddle
Front rim mavic, rear rim rigida (tubular)
Front tyre is shot, will need replacing, rear doesn't look too healthy either
Chrome spokes, Shimano hubs
Silstar chainset

Hi, good luck with the sale I've been after one of these for a long time but this one is way too big for me , I remember the shop in Coalville well and would drool over all the frames hanging in the window ,always pleasant and helpful, seeing this bike brings back fond memories, I suppose that's part of the retro bike fascination .
