Hello
Thought I would share a few photos of this frame I got today. Apparently built by Dave Yates. Very happy with it and not common so looking forward to getting it built up. Lets see your Joe Waughs!

Re:

Nice frames. I had one about 16 years ago that was made in 1988. 653 tubing, neat lugs, silver with pale yellow fade. Light ~1700g. Looked great but 53cm c-t was too small for me at 5'10.

Re:

Mine was advertised as a 60cm frame which would be too long for me. Fortunately they had measured the seat tube length and top tube ctc was 56.5cm so spot in!

Re:

Mine rides extremely well for a thirty something year old. I cant be bothered with a modern TT bike (wasted on me anyway) and this does me quite well for the occasional club 10. Did a good job for Steve Joughin BITD too.

Re:

I am sure plenty faster thsn me!
I do not have a modern carbon TT bike. Would be wasted on me! I have a 2008 Specialized Transition Pro E5 alloy frame. Plenty of room for improving fitness before anything else.

That's a superb looking frame saw it on FB as well.

Have you decided what you are going to build it up with yet?

I also got almost all parts to build it from the same guy. Not period stuff but will do for now to get it rolling. I think i will just touch up the paint for now.

Yes paint in general looks more than good enough and if you got parts with the frame then you might as well use them as you can always look out for what you actually want to use on it over time. I do that with a lot with my builds, if I don't have what I want I'll build it anyway as a proof of concept and then pick up what I actually want over time.
