The P2 forks came from a 1996 Kona Explosif.
The colour of the Kona Hot frame (in the picture) is very close to the P2 forks. The forks are a silvery brown colour!
Definitely 1996, green frame. silvery brown forks.1996 forks would have been the darker grey colour and different decals.
The top two photos are incorrect, the bottom photo is the correct one. And identical to the P2 forks I have for sale!Just for reference

Usually the forks have either Spinner or the spinner logo on the crown. I cannot see any reference to Spinner on the P2 forks I have. They are however, defiantly Triple Butted.I'm not an expert but do the triple butted ones have spinner or something similar on them?
