Jockey wheels , probably a silly question

Hi all

Can you get replacement jockey wheels for XT735 era rear mechs ?

If so , where from ?

Thanks

H :)

Greetings
Any LBS or online, the current wheels are sealed and work a treat!

Re:

You do need to be aware that older mechs like the XT M735 have 10 tooth jockey wheels while most modern jockey wheels are 11 tooth. The uneven number of teeth wear better.

Anyway, it's a bit more difficult to find the correct 10 tooth Shimano jockey wheels but fortunately there are current alternatives.

BBB Rollerboys BDP-01 have 10 teeth and cartridge bearings. Tacx also do 10 tooth versions. Both good options, but make sure you lift the bearing seals and apply some high quality grease before you fit then.

I actually just got some NOS red anodized Carmichael der. pulleys at a swap meet a few weeks ago for an xt derailier of mine. I never really heard of them but from the looks of the package, they're old. Ten teeth and little holes in the side to " keep out the crud" according to the label. I need that feature

Re:

That's great thanks !

That's what I was finding , that everything has 11 teeth now and the old ones had 10.

Just as a point of interest , will the 11 tooth ones work on the older stuff , or are you best to find the 10 tooth ?

Many thanks everyone.
