Jo Burt's made some real artwork in his time - I'm sure there are some original Mint Sauce paintings out there somewhere that are well worth a three-digit sum. Maybe not this one though!

I really like the picture, the price though is already way too high for me.

And i agree, its funny how he can remember the date and place of the sketch he has, but not of the 'rare' painting. Also i don't think the frame is included

I was thinking the same,someone has just wedged out £171 plus post on it,I wouldnt be taking the seller`s word that it`s legit.

simple way to validate - just drop an email to MBUK with an image of the painting and they will forward to Jo B to prove or disprove provenance. Jo is a bit reclusive but I am sure that he will - given time - come up with a view...
