"JMC" Grey Prolong 'S' Ti saddle restoration/renovation

Now that I've seen the possibility of swapping the skins on these saddles, if you decide to sell that there Pro-long separately, give me a shout as I'll definitely be interested 😉😊
Ease your helm Spudly, I’ve not done it yet!

Right, had a play during lunch.
The two cromo’s have had deep clean and I’ve skinned the Ti.
No real problems, the old contact adhesive needed breaking down first with the occasional squirt of citrus adhesive cleaner as I carefully removed it trying to save as much of the old foam cushioning as possible.
Happy with the result.

As @Joe*Pro said, I'm watching 👀
Brave work indeed @Peachy! so I'm keen to see how you get on.

Would also love to see/know if you could apply the clean up magic to perforated versions too!?
I don't have a spare to sacrifice, but I'd like at least my standard perf pro-long to look nicer as it's on a mint '94 Stumpjumper.
My (scruffier) '94 Ti Pro-long is attached to my FSR which is riding the eBay wave as we speak.
@Once A Hero Send me a PM with photos and we can have a chat.
Same goes for you @Spudly with the bent ti

Dialled the grey in ok. Took a few attempts as first batch was too blue, touch of yellow sorted that.
Please note, the photo below is just a colour test, I won’t be repairing any surfaces until I’ve re-applied the leather.
