Jim's 1996 Pace RC200 F5 - ShimaNO!!

I've just recently taken ownership of this bike from another retrobiker, it's kitted out with XT drive train, Pace forks, stem, bars, and chainrings, I've added some SPD pedals and an Avocet O2 Air saddle, and some white tyres that have sat unused for ages as I didn't have a bike to use them on
I really like the silver/silver understated look of it, so I'm looking out for a 29.4 Thomson seatpost in silver

Just the one photo now, I'll update as/when/if anything changes...

So I fancied a change from the usual Shimano components, enter some Sachs New Success parts....




From looks alone they appear as well built as anything from the "Big S", one rather funky/weird feature is the double hinged front mech clamp, not sure why? But I quite like it



Also got hold of some singlespeed dropouts, which gives me another option.
Quite tempted to go singlespeed over winter. I reckon an RC200 could be quite a light and lively singlespeed ride.



Finally, thanks to Longun I now have a nice silver Syncros seatpost (cheers mate! ).
