I've squeezed another SBDU 753 frame into the collection

SB3505 is a 1980 SBDU 753 frame in original TI Team colours. It came with the original Super Record headset and also a very nice Campagnolo 170 Pista crank and BB which will be used on another bike.

The paint on this frame is in excellent condition, one of the nicest original frames I've seen. It is Metric tubing but the slightly heavier gauge (0.7/0.4) single butted seat tube so takes a 26.8mm seat pin and although it looks like a standard road frame, it is actually a closer match to the SBDU's Time Trial geometry.









The name on the top tube is the former owner, who was kind enough to forward a photograph of her racing this frame in the late 80s in a National 25 TT



It's always nice to have a little bit of history connected to a frame!

Yep, I've seen lots of these frames with the EG Bates sticker on them... they must have got through a few.

No plans for it at the moment. It is a small frame, too small for me, but it's stunning original condition and price were too tempting to pass up.
