I've never snapped or cracked a frame.

Nor have I apart from (in order of breakage):

1992 Cannondale M700 (lost by Cannondale when sent back for warranty)
Pro-Flex 856 (replaced on warranty with 857 frame)
Random tiny no-name steel frame XC frame build up as jump bike (repaired by local welder, with a big gusset - still in use)
GT STS - ripped the head-tube off after 2 weeks!
the replacement GT STS...
1998 Specialized M2 (15", used as a jump/slalom/4X bike - maybe that's why. Replaced on warranty with a P3)
Specialized FSR elite
Specialized M4 Road bike
Orange C16r

I never liked any of the old Gits in my first cycling club, it was at the beginning of this thing of ours, and they were so anti mountain bike it was untrue. So much so you were relegated to the far corner of the club house on the Monday nite meet, and always the last to set off on the weekly club time trial.

A very antiquated short sited bunch of closed minded roadies.

I NEVER...……….thought we would have the last laugh though...……………, those that are still with us, do still ride, and yes they are riding what they referred too back then as over grown BMXs.
