Any thread that contains the phrases "drunken albanian" "interesting alignment" and the question "should you have paid £85 for it? has got to be worth watching i think.

OK, bit peeved about the hefty mark-up, but I think it looks like a fairly decent frame. I don't think the faded, semi-translucent paint is doing it any favours at all.

In the original photo I can make out a "Made in Taiwan" sticker, exactly the same as the one on my 1990 Marin Pine Mountain. That may explain why the rear triangle, seat stays, canti bridge, drop outs, top of the seat tube, cable guides and seat bolt boss look very similar.
 
No cause to be peeved on the mark-up, it was sold on eBay. Would have been different if he'd sold it on this site for that price.
