Wizard of Oz's widow
Retro Newbie
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the 'WIZARD OF OZ'
The amount of time he spends on this blinkin site, I thought he appreciate it more than cycling from Land's end to Evans sale, I meant John O Groats. The time actually spent cycling may be a bit below internet time on this and Singletrack site.
Having said that he does cycle to work half the week (a good stretch) then there is often a weekend off on some muddy messy ride for most of the day. London Bike Bash & Berks Bike Bash, well that's a couple of happy drunken Saturday, Sunday's gone. Now let's talk about the snoring after the ride, Silicone ear plugs is the way forward I can tell you.
So what shall I get for a birthday present, mmm tricky. We physically have no more space to house bike parts, that includes the kitchen floor and two big cupboards. Or as he says that he's the only bloke with an oven and fridge in his workshop.
Even our four year old daughter is on her third bike. The first one she got before she was born. Lucky girlie.
So let's get back to presents. Singletrack subscription, well that's been running for years, including tops, mugs, bottles. Retro gear, well we are running out of cupboard space with all the ancient Orange jerseys.
A new bike, ha. We'd never buy new, that's why he's here. However an early charge plug is chained up and rusting at present near our kitchen window. Luckily you can't see it with the, Orange and weird Klein in front.
Evan's voucher, no chance. Do Retrobike do gift vouchers? That might be good.
So I figured pizza and beer at the local.
Pub crawl with his cycling buddies at the weekend.
Plus another year of 'out of jail cards' / weekend passes.
Oh yes, Happy Birthday Oz.
