I picked up a very nice and smooth running pair of 'used' XCII beartraps as a "contemporary upgrade" for my '84 Muddy Fox rebuild, for a smidgin over £40 last summer. You do see people selling NOS mint ones for triple figures, but there's plenty of them about for more sensible money! A pair of 9/16 SR SP-468 alloy platforms in plain alloy on the other hand (like mine originally had when new)...rocking horse poo it would seem?
