Kāstle are an Austrian ski company bought by Luciano Benetton, and used as a marketing brand for his bikes. He was keen on bike manufacture, and bought an Italian bike assembly business to facilitate his ambitions. Frames are Taiwanese, with a few experimental racers built elsewhere. Very nice bikes. I have two '95 models, a 3.5 and an 8.0. The Degree 8.0 is made from Tange Prestige Superlite, and was originally fitted with an XT groupset and Marzocchi forks. If anyone knows more about the brand, please say..
