It was a dream, now it's a project… Merlin 92

For the bar/stem, I usually lov the combos, like the klein Mission control, grove innovation…
In the beginning of the 90ies, Marin has made a titanium combo, but very very rare.
On other hand, I don't want suspension fork on this frame. Not the philosophy. The flexstem was a good alternative but, until I don't try-ride it , I can't say if it's an error on that bike, or a good idea. I prefer to be open.
But what I remember about this stem, it's not very stiff… :roll:

But, I've got a titanium stem too and a Merlin Bar I have to restore (the decal is out). What would be cool is to find a steel salsa stem…

I show my project, beacause I know that the forum could give me ideas ;)

Brakes: control tech
Wheels : Mavic 517 rims with DT spokes, XT hubs and tune skewers
Tires : ritchey mégabite.
Weight : I don't know and it doesn't mater
