It is ... it isn't ... it is ... an Sbike!

Miche Primato fitted.JPG

Miche Primato fitted, thanks to information from FluffyChicken. Fortunately, I had exactly the 3mm spacer I needed.

Unfortunately, the threads on the Miche lockring were too long for the freehub, so I've had to use an SRAM lockring that was lying around.

Other things to attend to now, but hopefully I'll have time to add the chain and cables later.

Finally finished (aside from finding a bung for the stem, getting some cable ends from storage and any tweaks a test ride reveals necessary):

Finished - M900 rebuild (2).JPG

Thank you to everyone for the information on Sbikes, painting advice and parts supply.

Test ride and hopefully better photos to follow.

Now the rebuild is finished I need to decide whether I can bring myself to sell the Gipiemme road wheels or whhether I can justify keeping them as an option to switch in if I want to do a road ride on this bike.

Still no off road test, but I went for a last ever trip to buy milk. Not much needs tweaking except the derailleur limiters.

Have to say I like it! The minty painted xtr is different, not to my liking and the bland frame kinda puts me off.

But I’ve just got the 26” brother to this bike😎

Took it for a ride to check it was all tuned up this morning. Just need to tweak the limiter screws:

I cleaned and polished it earlier this week ......
